Telos provides Xacta for US Government cloud instances

Telos Corporation announced that its Xacta offering is available for all Azure US Government cloud regions, including Azure Government, Government Secret, and Government Top Secret. Available through Azure Marketplace, the offering is intended to support compliance. It incorporates Azure Policy, automatically generating accreditation packages. Customers can also track compliance using Blueprints.

"Microsoft has been a tremendous partner. From the very beginning we have had a shared vision for streamlining the risk management and compliance process, and together we’ll begin to considerably reduce the time and cost it takes to receive and maintain authorizations," said John B. Wood, CEO and chairman, Telos, in a statement.

"Xacta is well known for its ability to streamline the cyber risk management process. We’re pleased to expand our Xacta deployment and work together with Telos to automate the assessment and authorization process for our Azure Government clouds," stated Zach Kramer, partner engineering manager for Azure Global.

Socure will provide identity verification services for remote onboarding

Socure announced that it will provide identity verification services as an element of the public preview of verifiable credentials for Azure Active Directory. The company indicates that its mission is to combat fraud and improve online trust. After verification, credentials can be used to prove identity across different organizations with the goal of rapid onboarding.

"We are incredibly excited to collaborate with Microsoft. As the world moves toward increasingly virtual and distributed workplaces and teams, Microsoft Azure Active Directory verifiable credentials marks a major milestone toward safely verifying and onboarding new employees. Both teams are committed to mutually aligning toward this goal as it represents important progress toward verifying every good identity in real-time while reducing friction," said Johnny Ayers, CEO and Founder of Socure, in a statement.

"Our vision is to provide the platform for a digital identity in which individuals have more control over what information they share and can restrict access if needed. Collaborating with Socure empowers businesses to verify information at scale while ensuring users have greater control over their personal information," stated Sue Bohn, Partner Director Program Management, Identity Division at Microsoft.

Sverica invests in WinWire Technologies

Sverica, a private equity firm, announced a strategic investment in WinWire Technologies, a digital engineering company specializing in Azure. WinWire is a Microsoft Managed Partner and AI Inner Circle Partner, first launched in 2007, with a focus on digital transformation.
