Imprivata, IGEL expand partnership for single sign-on to Azure Virtual Desktop

Imprivata, a digital identity company, and IGEL, a managed endpoint operating system provider announced an expanded partnership in conjunction with Microsoft Ignite. Together, the two companies have co-developed a secure identity and access management offering for Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365, integrating Imprivata OneSign with IGEL OS.

Through the integration, customers will be able to access desktops and apps with single sign-on. The offering is targeted to healthcare organizations to support migration to digital workspaces.

"IGEL and Imprivata have collaborated for over a decade on delivering a secure and seamless single sign-on experience for the access our mutual customers need to workstations, applications and virtual desktops,” stated Matthias Haas, Chief Technology Officer, IGEL.
