Microsoft has updated Azure Synapse Link at Build 2021 with integration to Dataverse. Azure Synapse Link for Dataverse builds on the service formerly known as Export to data lake that had been generally available since October 2019. The renamed and updated service is now in preview.

"With Azure Synapse Link for Dataverse, customers can now automatically ensure that data flowing into their business applications is also flowing into their analytics solution," wrote senior product marketing manager Kaiser Larsen. Larsen explained that Microsoft is focused on making the process easy for owners of Dataverse environments.
