Bioinformatics company M2GEN teams up with Microsoft on oncology projects

M2GEN, a Florida-based bioinformatics company announced a partnership with Microsoft to support its clinic-genomics database with Azure.

M2GEN has collected a database of 300,000 cancer patients in coordination with the Oncology Research Information Exchange Network. It plans to scale this data with Synapse Analytics and Healthcare APIs. The new platform will rely on Purview and Data Lake Storage Gen2.

Together, our two companies will accelerate the impact of data and analytics on personalized cancer care for patients,” stated Jim Gabriele, President and Chief Executive Officer of M2GEN.
