Boosting Azure migrations: Migration tools, Windows Server, and SQL Server updates at Inspire 2021

Microsoft announced new capabilities to support Azure migrations in conjunction with its Inspire 2021 conference. The disruptions brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic over the last year spurred many companies to speed up their migrations to Azure.

According to Tanuj Bansal, Senior Director of Product Marketing for Azure, Microsoft is changing the Azure Migration Program to the Azure Migration and Modernization Program. This new version encompasses support for Spring Cloud and Cosmos DB.
