Edgewater Fullscope Rolls Out Food AXcelerator as Microsoft Dynamics LCS Solution

Edgewater Fullscope has launched the Food AXcelerator, a rapid deployment template that can be deployed in Azure via Lifecycle Services (LCS) with related set up, configuration, and master data samples.

Food AXcelerator includes a business process model based on Dynamics AX 2012 R3 that addresses organizational, financial, operational and regulatory business processes as well as the analytical needs in a food manufacturing organization, according to the company.

The Food AXcelerator is delivered through a "ready-to-go" environment in Azure as an LCS Solution. The concept is to leverage the tools of LCS to build a solution package to help streamline the weight and depth of the application as well as manage the knowledge around it and the best practices in implementing those capabilities, says Reddy Beeram, director of product development for Edgewater Fullscope, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Edgewater Technology, Inc..

"LCS provides customers the toolset to build the solution package, including the Food AXcelerator, that contains not only the business process model that goes with the solution package, but also lets them define a custom implementation methodology to incorporate that solution package into an implementation along with the ability to deploy environments for that solution package pretty rapidly with Azure," he says.
