Hitachi Solutions Acquires Microsoft Dynamics E-Commerce and Retail Solution Provider Ignify

Microsoft Dynamics partner Hitachi Solutions America, Ltd. announced it has acquired Ignify, a solutions provider focused on e-commerce and retail.

Ignify was founded in 1999 by Sandeep Walia and Pankaj Kumar. The company has offices in the U.S., India, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Japan. Their inclusion on the 2014 Inc. 5000 list put their 2013 revenue at $17.8 million, with three year revenue growth of 142% and 355 employees. The company has also received awards from Microsoft, including its 2015 Dynamics Reseller of the Year Award.

Ignify has also reported a range of client wins over the years, including Shakey's Pizza, Goldilocks Bakeshop, and DMCI Homes. The company also announced a Dynamics AX solution for marine and offshore services businesses in early 2015.

With this acquisition, Ignify will immediately become part of Hitachi Solutions America, Ltd. and will be operating under the Business Solutions Group. Walia and Kumar will become senior members of Hitachi Solutions' management team and play key roles in the organization, according to Hitachi Solutions in a statement.

In April 2014, Hitachi Solutions America acquired Dynamics CRM specialist firm Customer Effective.
