IT infrastructure service provider Kyndryl announced a multi-year collaboration to assist Viewpointe with its internal private cloud migration to Azure.

Viewpointe provides managed services and business process automation for the financial services industry and it plans to manage its critical data in the cloud as part of a “full-stack modernization,” according to the companies.

Together, the two companies plan to develop best practices for updating Viewpointe’s solutions in Azure. Additionally, the project will involve Kyndryl's Cloud Advisory and Implementation team.

Viewpointe's goals are to scale its content services, expand the offerings it provides to the finance industry, and save 20 or 30 percent on cost at the end of the migration process.

IBM spun off Kyndryl in April of 2021, creating a company that at the time had over 4,600 clients. Kyndryl announced a partnership with Microsoft in November to build solutions for Azure and support hybrid cloud scenarios.

“This is exactly the kind of work the Kyndryl and Microsoft partnership was built to deliver — innovation and transformation at scale to help companies fuel progress,” stated Takuya Hirano, Vice President of Global System Integrators and Advisory Partners at Microsoft.
