Kyndryl, Microsoft, and Dell team up on Azure Stack HCI migration offering

Kyndryl announced an integrated hybrid cloud solution to help customers migrate to Azure. Kyndryl Distributed Cloud for Microsoft Azure Stack hyperconverged infrastructure with Azure Arc relies on Dell Integrated System for Azure Stack HCI, based on Dell PowerEdge servers and Stack HCI software.

Customers will be able to deploy Kyndryl Distributed Cloud in datacenters, remote office and branch locations, or factory assembly lines. The offering is packaged as either a 1-3 node deployment or a scalable 2-100 node deployment, and is targeted toward industries like healthcare, energy, retail, and manufacturing.

Kyndryl intends to support low latency big data analytics. The company previously partnered with Microsoft in November, 2021 to support hybrid cloud migrations and announced a multi-year partnership with Viewpointe to supports its Azure migration.
