Microsoft and Honeywell to integrate connected enterprise, field service solutions

Microsoft and Honeywell have announced a plan to integrate Honeywell Forge with Dynamics 365 Field Service. 

Honewell Forge is an enterprise performance management suite used to track and manage energy efficiency, operating expenses, and assets in buildings, aircraft, and industrial facilities using IoT-connected edge devices and data analysis. Forge SaaS solutions already run on Azure. The companies explained the first round of new plans in a statement:

[C]ustomers will be able to access operating data that includes workflow management support to improve performance and energy efficiency within the enterprise environment. Workers in the field will benefit from real-time access to critical data that will help them prioritize, analyze and solve problems more quickly.
