The finance insights features of Dynamics 365 Finance have now reached general availability, Microsoft announced today. The tools cover customer payment insights, cash flow forecasting, and intelligent budget proposals.

The new features use AI tools to help D365 Finance customers "improve the efficiency and quality of financial processes by leveraging intelligent automation," according to Dynamics 365 GM Georg Glantschnig in a new blog post.

Back in 2020, Microsoft appeared to be planning to brand these capabilities as a product in the Dynamics 365 suite that was to be called Finance Insights, but have now classified the resulting work as a set of capabilities within Dynamics 365 Finance.
