How to fix broken security references in D365FO

Writing on his blog, Alex Meyer stated that if you have used the security configuration area in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations to remove security layers in the past, you might have noticed that certain security features still show these security layers even though they've been removed.

Meyer then demonstrated this phenomenon by using the security diagnostics feature. Security diagnostics lets you see all roles, duties, and privileges that have access to a form you're on.

He then explained how to use the security diagnostics feature to fix broken security references.
