EdgeAX Announces Retail Business Intelligence for Dynamics AX 2012

EdgeAX, a unit of Visionet Systems Inc., has made its Retail Business Intelligence (BI) solution available for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012. The solution is aimed at addressing the needs of retailers and offers out-of-the-box integration, executive dashboards, and dozens of key reports, according to company officials.

The more advanced EdgeAX Retail BI Enterprise Edition has been tailored for vertically integrated apparel, shoes and accessories retailers, and encompasses Business Intelligence for product lifecycle management (PLM), supply chain management (SCM), omni-channel retail, and vendor management.

Built on the Microsoft technology stack, EdgeAX Retail BI doesn't need any additional third-party software. The solution uses SQL Server for data warehousing, and its reporting capabilities and executive dashboards use SharePoint, officials said.

Recently, EdgeAX rolled out a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solution for apparel that's embedded in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012. As the vendor's first PLM product, EdgeAX PLM offers seasonal line planning and specification packages that enable business collaboration among partners.

XEC Taps Cincom for its Microsoft Dynamics CRM Needs
