Microsoft has announced a new channel leadership structure, with Nicole Dezen taking on the newly created title of Chief Partner Officer and two direct reports responsible for channel sales and programs, respectively.

Dezen will continue in her previous role of CVP of Global Partner Solutions, according to Nick Parker, Microsoft’s president of industry and partner sales. She will have two key direct reports: David Smith as VP of Channel Sales and Julie Sanford as VP of Partner GTM, Programs & Experiences.

“These new roles and the increased investments we continue to make in our partner business demonstrate the importance of our ecosystem, the needs of our partners and the opportunity we have to serve customers together,” wrote Parker.
