Microsoft rebrands Windows Virtual Desktop to Azure, expands capabilities

Microsoft is renaming Windows Virtual Desktop to Azure Virtual Desktop and previewing enhanced support for Azure Active Directory.

Microsoft launched Windows Virtual Desktop two years ago, but in light of soaring demand for remote and hybrid work options, the team is now expanding the offering to be accessible "virtually anywhere."
