Securing and optimizing Azure VMs

For many Azure customers, Virtual Machines (VMs) are now a critical component of compute and development, offering scalable, flexible ways to run workloads. But for all of the advances in VM technology coming from Microsoft, VMs can prove to be inscrutable and at-times difficult to manage and secure. MSCN reached out to Azure experts for view on the best ways to optimize VM performance and security.

A security minefield?

VMs are increasingly secure thanks to safety measures put in place by Microsoft. Nonetheless, users can find themselves unsure of their level of security, at-times with little visibility into potential risks.
