Trimble, a Las Vegas-based technology company, launched Trimble Construction Cloud powered by Azure. The offering is intended to accelerate digital transformation for construction, agriculture, and transportation.

The offering uses Microsoft Azure services such as Logic Apps, DevOps, and Kubernetes Service to help contractors and sub-contractors connect data processes. Construction Cloud is set to launch as part of the Trimble Construction One offering that provides project management, detailing, and estimating. Construction Cloud has four main features: a common data environment, configurable custom workflows, model sharing, and a developer portal.

"[Construction Cloud] empowers project teams to design, construct, operate, collaborate and learn with live data sharing. This unique approach leverages connected workflows, precise spatial data and constructible models to modernize the entire ecosystem and accelerate customer success. We're excited to help customers and partners achieve more productively and sustainability than before,” stated Jennifer Lin, senior vice president and chief platform officer for Trimble.
