Azure Updates: VMs; Databases; Maps Creator; Lighthouse

Many small updates and improvements dominated the world of Microsoft Azure over the past week, touching on VMs, databases, Lighthouse, Maps and CNI.

Microsoft is issuing new Dd v4-series and Ed v4-series VMs providing up to 64 vCPUs based on Intel Xeon Platinum 8272CL processors, which run at a base speed of 2.5 Ghz. The offering encompasses large local SSD storage of up to 2.4 GB.
