IBM Consulting announced that it is working with Microsoft to accelerate the deployment of generative AI for customers. IBM has an existing partnership with Microsoft that it is now expanding to scale Azure OpenAI Service, including by launching a managed AI service for developers and data scientists to deploy large language models based on Codex and GPT.
IBM identified key areas of focus for generative AI. It plans to support customers with OpenAI Service and Power Platform to automate sourcing and procurement, accelerate customer personalization for financial services, automatically ingest health records, and conduct automated enterprise search.
"Businesses are looking for responsible ways to adopt and integrate multi-model generative AI solutions that augment the work their teams are doing in areas such as creative content and code creation, content summarization and search. Our work with Microsoft is another example of IBM's open ecosystem model designed to bring value to clients while helping them responsibly build and scale generative AI across their businesses,” stated Francesco Brenna, Global VP & Senior Partner, Microsoft Practice at IBM Consulting.
