Key takeaways for the Azure community at Build 2021

Between May 25 and 27, Microsoft hosted its virtual Build 2021 conference promoting new features, service updates, and plenty of insights on the latest developer-centric improvements across Azure.

Microsoft continued to highlight its sustainability goals of using less energy in cloud environments, launching the Green Software Foundation with ThoughtWorks, GitHub, and Accenture.

Azure Confidential Ledger has joined the line-up of Azure services, offering a register to store sensitive data for auditing and recordkeeping with a Trusted Execution Environment. The service is targeted to data like digital certificates, IP, personally identifiable information and encryption keys. Designed for multiparty scenarios, the service also supports collaborative workspaces and write once, read many guarantees (better known as WORM).
