Meta adopts Microsoft as strategic cloud provider
Meta announced that it has selected Microsoft as a strategic cloud provider.
In 2021, Meta adopted Azure VMs with NVIDIA A100 80GB GPUs. Through the expanded partnership, Meta will use Azure supercomputing in a bid to accelerate its AI research and development. This will involve a dedicated Azure cluster of 5400 GPUs, part of the NDm A100 v4 series, leveraging NVIDIA A100 Tensor Core 80GB GPUs.
