by Elif Item
Founder & CEO, Item by Item

Welcome back to Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) training insights series. In our fifth session, we will be providing training insights on supply chain management for D365 Finance & Operations. We will cover the audience, content, timing, and nature of this training, how to approach it, and finish with a quick tip. You can see the full article series here.

Similar to the product management area, supply chain has two different audiences. The first one is the core team that will be making decisions on how the supply chain is modelled and managed within the system. The second one is a much larger audience who move goods through the supply chain in their daily operations such as procurement, sales, logistics, etc. Both audiences need to understand how the supply chain is modeled and used in D365.

This training covers site and warehouse setup, tracking and storage dimensions, transfer order management, quarantine management and the other functions related to establishing and managing the supply chain network.
