Microsoft Dynamics Gets Boost in NFP and NGO Spaces

The Not for Profit Solution Center, a network of Microsoft Dynamics partners, is taking steps to help support Microsoft's efforts to bring Dynamics ERP and CRM to its not-for-profit (NFP) and non-governmental organization (NGO) customers in its East Region.

The center said it has established a customer advisory board to help ensure that Microsoft Dynamics solutions are closely aligned with the current and future needs of NFP and NGO customers. Microsoft has also established the Microsoft Solution Center for NFPs to better meet the needs of those organizations.

The advisory board is just one of a number of customer-focused initiatives that Microsoft Dynamics partners will be doing to better assist the NFP and NGO organizations. The board includes representatives of Microsoft Dynamics partners-- Peter Pfeiffer, Managing Partner of Tatum LLC; and Tom Raffa, Managing Partner, Raffa, PC 

The Not for Profit Solution Center said it will host summits in April in Washington, DC and in May in New York City in conjunction with Microsoft's Community Affairs team. The NGO Connections Days summits will feature industry-leading keynote speakers, breakout sessions on NFP business and technology topics, and technology exhibits from Microsoft channel partners knowledgeable about the NFP industry, the group said.

"The Microsoft NFP Customer Advisory Board was developed to ensure that we continue to support our not-for-profit customers by providing affordable technology solutions, networking opportunities, and a community forum for them as needed," said Chris Sakalosky, Microsoft Dynamics East Region General Manager, in a statement.

Sakalosky said the new board members understand the problems facing not-for-profits and NGOs and will be able to help customers improve their organizations in order to become successful.
