Sonata Software forms partnership with IZARA to further its Nordic ambitions

Sonata Software, a global IT solutions firm, has formed a partnership with Danish ERP house, IZARA, to further develop its presence in the Nordic region.

To strengthen its footprint across Northern Europe, Sonata Software has taken a 15% stake in IZARA.  The deal will enable Sonata Software to maximize its current customer relationships and develop new partnerships with its digital transformation offering - platformation - a concept that allows businesses to move toward platform-based business models backed by technology, according to officials of the two companies.

IZARA will be backed by a Microsoft Dynamics AX engineering team of over 700 in Bangalore, India. IZARA was formed by the merger of IZARA and Axspecialists. IZARA has traditionally been an advisory company aiding customers with transitions within the ERP market, while AXspecialists was a IT boutique that helped customers that were having problems with their ERP projects, officials stated.
