Throughout the pandemic, Microsoft has touted the role of its Healthcare Bot at major organizations like Providence, Premera, Walgreens and the US Centers for Disease Control. Now, the service is moving to Azure, reincarnated as the Azure Health Bot. It promises reduced downtime, simplified steps, and templates to check Covid-19 vaccine eligibility.

According to CVP Lili Cheng, as a native service Health Bot is able to take advantage of Azure security systems, with a 99.9 percent SLA commitment. For now, it is only available in two regions—East US and West Europe—but will expand to eight regions over the coming months.
