Editor's Note: MSDynamicsWorld.com is a media sponsor of the User Group Summit Europe 2019 and will be providing preview coverage of the events.

In just a few weeks, Power Platform, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and CRM users will arrive in Amsterdam for User Group Summit Europe. Ahead of the event, Sandy Ussia, a Business Applications MVP, global partner manager at Lightning Tools and expert on all things SharePoint spoke with MSDW about what she and other organizers have arranged for attendees.

Flow for the channel

When she's not working as a global partner manager, Ussia keeps busy in the Microsoft Business Applications community, including taking a leading role planning the Summit Europe 2019 event:

I had volunteered to be on the content selection committee and ended up heading up [a talk] about how to automate with Flow, because that's one of the key topics I present on. It was really fun seeing all the selections and working with my team to choose them. We hadn't received an intro to Flow submission, so I kind of got volunteered to do that. I have a Flow jump start training I do as a micro-job. It's a 101 intro to Flow: How it works, how to create one, and some of the basic flows.

I'm also helping to organize and plan a fun event for each track and we'll be doing Flow "pub trivia."

Ussia admitted that she would likely be busy at the event and thus might not have a chance to check out other sessions.

I'll probably make it to some of the other Flow or PowerApps sessions. I like these events for the educational opportunity, but I also really enjoy the networking. This will be the first of these events I've been to. [In the past], I've been to SharePoint events – with my background – but I assume they're similar.

The Flow track will kick off with an overview of automation processes, focusing on the why of using Flow, rather than the how.
