Technology services firm Flapmax announced it is teaming up with Microsoft to support the FAST African startup accelerator. Entrepreneurs in Africa are invited to sign up by February 22, 2022 to take part in a first cohort with the accelerator, starting in March.

The FAST program was previously created by Flapmax in partnership with Microsoft. Participants are able to work closely with Microsoft on co-innovation projects, such as product integrations. Additionally, participants receive up to $250,000, Azure credits, and access to Dynamics 365 and Microsoft 365.

"At Flapmax our mission is to enrich the lives of everyone on the planet and make the world more sustainable, using accelerated AI technology. We are proud to partner with Microsoft to make that dream a reality for startup founders committed to strengthening the digital ecosystem in Africa. Together, we can build an AI-enabled future that serves everyone, everywhere – improving industries from healthcare and education to agriculture and government services,” stated Dave Ojika, founder and CEO, Flapmax.
