Mindtree to establish Microsoft business unit, invest in Azure skills and space

Technology services firm Mindtree will increase its investment in Microsoft Azure services and employee skills through a Microsoft-focused business unit, the company announced.

Mindtree already delivers a range of Microsoft cloud services including Azure, Power Platform, Dynamics 365, and Microsoft 365. They will be expanding their presence in Redmond, Washington with the creation of a "Global Azure Experience Center". The company is also forming a new training academy to help its technical staff gain Microsoft certifications.

The company has headquarters in Bangalore and New Jersey and reports over 21,800 employees. It operates in fifteen countries and reported 2020 revenue of approximately USD $1.1 billion.

The dedicated business unit is "a critically important step forward in our collaboration and making further investments in the Microsoft ecosystem,” said Gavriella Schuster, Corporate Vice President, One Commercial Partner, Microsoft, in a statement.
