Attendees of next month's User Group Summit Europe 2019 event are certain to learn about Microsoft's latest product release plans, but many existing customers will arrive with other pressing questions about the future, like how to improve their organizations' current mixes of on-premises and cloud solutions in a business climate that demands both agility and regulatory compliance.

Allan Retlef Lassen, a senior solutions architect at Jyske Bank in Copenhagen working on their Dynamics 365 for Customer Engagement (CRM) platform, spoke with MSDW about his participation at User Group Summit and what he expects other users will want to talk about on arrival.

Planning for event sessions

In the lead up to this year's event, Lassen has worked on the programming committee for the Customer Engagement and CRM tracks. He plans to present two sessions himself, one on integration with Dynamics in a larger IT landscape, and a panel discussion on running single or multiple instances of Dynamics.

And while Microsoft is likely to be focused on the latest SaaS offerings, Lassen notes that many companies attending will want to have another discussion: whether to move their current on-premises solution architectures to the cloud.
